Design Partner Feature: Lisa Lamb Interiors

For the first Designer Feature of the year, we're putting the spotlight on Lisa Lamb Interiors, a Tampa-based, full-service design firm that is committed to creating spaces for clients that are unique to them. While Lisa and her team love incorporating classic and contemporary styles into their work, they always ensure their clients' lifestyles and personal tastes are reflected in the end result.

In this post, not only will you learn about the inspiration behind four different projects, you'll also get some great design tips that you can incorporate into your next project!

Nursery

The team at Lisa Lamb Interiors love designing nurseries that can transition as the toddler gets older.

When creating this space, not only did they design it with a baby in mind, but they envisioned the "big boy bed" and lounge chair that would be added down the road.

They also wanted staple pieces that would remain in the room as the baby grew from toddler to kid, so Lisa and her team picked a few items that will stay for years to come: the ottoman, the window treatments and the Anette Floor Lamp.

Entryway

This client had a beautiful, unique Hermes scarf that Lisa wanted to incorporate into the home's design. In order for her to turn the scarf into a piece of art, she had it matted and framed. It's now the focal point of the home, and it greets guests in the entryway.

As far as the lighting goes, Lisa chose the Chloe Table Lamps for their lightweight curvilinear lines that complement the modern lines of the console so well.

She also told me that she likes to include both masculine and feminine features when designing as it helps make the spaces inviting to all. What a useful tip!

Guest Bedroom

Lisa has two main goals when designing a space: achieving beauty (of course!) and holding the visitor's interest as their eyes go from piece to piece throughout a room.

Incorporating the Desmond Table Lamp into this guest bedroom helped make those goals a reality. While the Desmond is a bit more neutral, it's far from forgotten, due to its marble veining and gorgeous carved details.

Living Room

Lisa was so excited to feature this project!

She explained that this particular client has stunning personal style, always looks classic and elegant, and knows how to integrate modern pieces into her outfits.

She used her client's style as inspiration and carried over the same themes into the home.

While Lisa wanted the living room to be inviting, she also wanted it to be visually interesting with distinct pieces, so she added the Cleo Floor Lamp by Kelly Wearstler.

The Cleo's geometric shapes bring a modern element to a traditional living room, making it the perfect fit for the space!
